Appears to be different for the GTS cars...GT cars are the same.

OK, got this cleared up with my SA. This is what standard equipment look like, they meant to say the "Cayman GTS" wording is in black.

I added the carbon illuminated sills (I have carbon interior trim), and lucked-out because Suncoast happened to be offering a set on clearance. Saved $ but the install was a bit laborious. Dealer took care of it; seats have to come out to connect to wiring and the tech said it wasn't all that easy. The result was very good. I think it adds a sport look, especially when entering/exiting in dark... Worth it.

Thanks for the info! I am considering the retrofit for my Spyder. The view with the door open is too nice for the standard aluminum trim I have... Anyone with a carbon-illuminated SPyder could share a pic to see how the light comes out with the smaller Spyder lettering? Thanks a lot

I opted for illuminated and it looks amazing to me, much better than my non illuminated GT3.

I went with bespoke illuminated carbon. Its more a "just me" option as no one really looks at it but me. I like the illumination at night when I open the door....the custom script I like but wouldn't do again.

Would have liked to have this option but it was not available on Boxster 25 Years cars.
