My boxster anniversary is scheduled to arrive first week of September

 

Quick question: is “lock date” the same as the “Freeze Pt” date I see printed on my Event Date sheet?

 

anyone have deposit made on june or july and already have v200 and delivery date ? just wondering, i put mine on july 13th and i know it's gonna be a long way

 

My deposit was on a V200 allocation, so my lock and build dates were already established. It seems that you have a V70 request for allocation? If so, it’s a matter of when your dealer receives an allocation for you, and that could be any time. It seems that allocations are very tight, so it could be some time yet.

 

I went v200 on 7/21 and have a scheduled delivery date of Feb 2 (for a spyder). That gives me MONTHS to reconsider my options / color selection!!!!

 

Lol, yes, lots of time to make choices, second guess yourself, and reconfigure a million times. But it’s also fun and in the end, you’ll have specified perfectly.

 

Ha! Or is it like college exams, where your first choice is 90% likely correct, and all you do is confuse yourself and go down rabbit holes when you second guess?

I am currently GR. The biggest question is whether to switch to gentian, or long shot shark. <insert hanging self emoji here> lol That pic of the recently delivered UK shark spyder is hot hot hot.

You guys got lucky lol, my GTS 4.0 order demand went in in February, I waited until April 1st for my allocation and they flipped me to a MY2022...delivery is at end of October.

 

I sat in Spyder allocation hell for 6-7 months, then got the order accepted in May, and went V200 on 7/08, V250 on 8/27, and V900 delivery to dealer in TX set for 10/29..

 

GR is beautiful and classic, which is why I chose it. But also a bit cliche. I’m not brave enough for gold wheels. lol

 

Shark Blue is a wild stab at this point, so you have time to wait for photos after some of us take delivery. It was my first choice, and my configuration never changed much except for a few baubles like the gas cap and leather visors. My biggest concern was PASM vs. SPASM and made that decision a few weeks ago. I am doing the Shark Blue with the standard black rims, black leather interior with extended blue stitching and vented seats, CF interior pieces including gear shift and doorsills, and the premium package stuff. It should be a nice ride. There is only one color that I absolutely do not like.
