Yes! Saw you guys were getting something like a $5K credit voucher. So yes - perfect thing to spend that on.

Thanks for all the suggestions. After a couple hours with the sales rep I’m happy with the result. I may revisit the 10mm vs 20 mm drop. Now the waiting begins!

Still trying to understand the attractiveness of the Premium Package for so many people. Never occurred to me to include it in any of my configurations. Bose, sure. Luggage net, free. Heated steering wheel, nice to have but hate all the added buttons to the wheel and can be ordered separately anyway. The rest, meh -- and $3.5k is not exactly a bargain. Much better to spend the money on full leather, IMO

Get the -20mm. Looks MUCH better, and it's still 10mm higher than the Spyder/GT4 with a spoiler lip that's more raised too. It's a sports car after all, and Porsche made it standard for a reason.

I'd also add the free smoking package, delete the rear model designation, make the rear "PORSCHE" in black, and add some interior (e.g. leather or black aluminum) trim. The chrome/silver rear "PORSCHE" and the standard chrome interior trim don't match the black exterior accents and black wheels.

Great move! You wont be disappointed with the standard suspension. SPASM is excellent.

Lots of good suggestions in this thread, but I would strongly advise sitting in the sports seats plus (2-way or 18-way) for an extended drive before opting for those. I am on the taller side with broad shoulders, and those are an absolute torture device for me. The shoulder bolsters are constantly digging into my back, and there is no adjustment that will alleviate it. I went with the 14-ways (not available with alcantara but are available in leather, and do also have lumbar adjustment) and am very happy.

I also went for SPASM. I was afraid that ingress/egress would be an issue, and it was a bit at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Very glad now to have the better stance and sharper handling with minimal ride penalty.

PDK was an easy choice for me as a daily driver...and I might be in the minority, as I actually find it more enjoyable to drive hard on back roads than the stick.

I have the door handles in gloss black on a chalk GT4 and recommend it. The contrast is a nice touch and it provides a nice break in the overall color of the car.

Decided to add in the leather interior AZ. Seems reasonable at $2160.

On a CGTS40, am I correct in saying that you cannot order leather dash without upgrading to the leather interior? I tried and it seems to make me add nearly $6k to get to leather dash and door panels. I don't want to load up on options. I want to DRIVE! lol My build is VERY basic (if you can say that about a $90k car):

Aventurine Green
Std interior in black
race-tex delete
fire extinguisher
luggage net
smoker pkg
20" carrera sport wheels in satin black
rear emblem delete
Headrest crests
center console model logo
Exclusive fuel cap
Entry & Drive
red seat belts
first year maintenance included (ok, yea, they threw that one in for "free" on me. lol)

I really like these kinds of builds that are lightweight and purposeful. You might consider doing guards red and deleting the armrest logo that won’t be noticed to save a few more bucks. I also just like the standard white - light colors look very good on a Cayman, IMO.

Wait no, you can definitely add full leather interior for $2160, which includes the full leather dash and glovebox, and top of the door panels. If you try to add GTS interior or deviated stitching that will put you up in the $5-6K range

I got the black door handles in black as well as the black rear wing. I liked the contrast with the chalk paint. The only issues are the handles can leave finger prints, but that is a quick fix.

I know options are a personal choice and there are no right or wrong answers, but black door handles make me think of a mid-90's Civic DX:
