I received notification of my MY25 BGTS allocation in June, the same day announcements were made regarding MY25 in the US. My SA informed me that my freeze date was 8/12. I logged on the MyPorsche app today and it showed a freeze date of 7/18. Is this normal? Do freeze dates change?
First understand there is some ambiguity in TYD steps and descriptions that is different from the dealer system.
Your PSVMS V250 date is usually much later than the TYD date.
TYD Change Freeze Point is Different from V250 Vehicle Fixed.

Yes they can change. They did for me too. Note that smaller items that do not have a big impact on your build timeline (e.g., changing a thread color or adding or removing some leather option, adding the smoker package since you misunderstood its value) may still be possible. Changing transmission type, color (especially if it involves PTS), WP vs non-WP will most likely not be changeable after. So make sure that your submitted build is close to what you need/want.
Crystal Ray already has unloaded the cars for the South western US in San Diego and is finally on its way for us poor souls waiting in the Pacific Northwest and Northern CA areas. ETA in Benicia is July 18:

I don't have the premium account so Can't see the expected arrival dates at Jacksonville but it looks like the end destination is Halifax, Canada, and the eta is the 26th of July. Numbers add up with dealer estimate of 8/5 arrival at the dealership.
The Crystal Ray has arrived in Benicia tonight, so I hope our cars will be unloaded and put onto delivery trucks soon
I think this last part will be the hardest wait. I'm up here in Pac NW with you and my original ETA was 7/27. Missing some great top-down weather here, and I sold my '14 S a few months back, so I'm ready to have my GTS.

I was similarly on a pretty conservative path (black/black/black) with no GTS interior, similar to my first two Boxsters. But something about the GTS and being end of line for the 718 led me to be a bit different with Gentian Blue and GTS interior with red stitching. Need something special for a special car. I like your choice!
Good news for those that are getting cars in the PNW from the Crystal Ray. I just got a text from my SA: My GT4RS arrived at the dealership!
Only "problem" I am at AutoX for the weekend. So I will get to pick it up on Monday....

wow that was quick. I assume its about 1-2 days from California to up where are which means it only really spent maybe a week at most at port. Hoping when mine gets there its just as quick.
