Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...
wow why the long delay from end of production? Even when i ordered my GT4 i only really had to wait an extra month but that was due to PECLA delivery. My car was done in October and arrived in the US in December. But it sounds like your car was done in November and it's almost the end of March. Was it stuck at port for a few months? Seems like an excessive wait time for a car thats already complete.

No idea, nobody really knew.. Get this, production starts September 1st. When I originally got my build it was supposed to start in mid August and go a few weeks so running into the beginning of September. My SA has heard something about the two natural leather options adding a month and I got the Burmester which "supposedly" added more time. In the end nothing could be confirmed. I hope it wasn't sitting in port and instead was in of of those large simple warehouses. I didn't get updates about it being on the way and arriving to port until the end of January but the three TYD showed and still shown Nov 27 & 28. I'm going to be really ticked off of the interior is Maury. And smells. I'm also concerned about fluids just sitting and tired getting flat spots. My dealership knows so I'm hoping after leading Emden and being inspected in Freeport that PoCS will catch anything. I'm going to really be critical if I accept it or not but I'm optimistic it'll be okay!

When I found out that 2024 may be the last year of the NA Boxster I had to get an allocation for a Boxster GTS 4.0. The dealer I built and ordered my 2021 Panamera GTS didn't have any allocation. After being on the waiting list of multiple dealers I finally got an allocation for June Build for most likely August 2024 delivery! I'm taking delivery at PECLA again. It was $500 in October 2021 for my Panamera GTS and now its $2000!
I'm getting
Shark Blue with Chalk Leather interior. I finally saw a GTS in Shark Blue in the showroom and really like it. I love Carmine Red but my Panamera GTS is that color already, so thought something different.
manual 6-sp
painted safety bars in Shark Blue
and probably stock rims as I will trade out later for Spyder type wheels.
Really bummed that many options that were available before Octobr 2023 are no longer avialable, like Cognac leather interior which I would have definitely chosen.

Ha - your fluid was probably better off not being used sitting there. Any moisture that COULD have been accumulated in the oil will be long gone, along with the flatspots, when the porter takes your car to the gas station to fill it up. I believe they call it a "pre break-in service" done at no charge by most dealers.

Guess I fit in this thread. After waiting for over a year, got the call a few weeks ago that an allocation has come available and I have a May build date with July delivery.
Yeah, I know a lot prefer platinum or silver wheels with Gentian Blue, I just like the satin black. Also went with the Carmine Red GTS interior. Only open decision is between 18 way seats and the bucket seats. Going tomorrow to drive a used GTS 4.0 the dealer has with bucket seats.

Meaning you'd stick with the satin black wheels as first choice? or you would have gone with the Satin Platinum color as first choice, silver as second, and avoid the satin black?

Black would be third choice(the black wheel/black tire/dark gentian kinda disappears in all but bright sun). Or maybe fourth, as If I was very brave, the gold in interesting/different if your personality is more "look at me".
