My car was completed in Osnabruck around 1 month ago and still no pictures. Not expecting to get any (would be a nice surprise).

Finally connected it today, i already fitted extended leather parts on B pillars and A pillars in Alcantara. Exhaust sound seems improved over my previous early '20 one. Steering feeling seems better too.

Where did you did you get the additional leather and alcantara pieces from? I noticed the SRS has the A pillars in Racetex and was thinking about doing that. Those added details make it look really clean!

Congratulations, nice ride, also great work on the A/B pillars! I always wondered about the A pillar, out Macan is fabric covered and it doesn't even have extended leather, I always thought the Spyder could benefit from something here as well!

Job was dome at a local trim shop near Milan called Lanzoni Interni Auto. They use Poltrona Frau leather as used by Ferrari. Car in from Porsche centre of Como. I live 8 km from them. Recently they soldi a Cayman GTS 4.0 which was configured by Porsche themselve. Colour was PTS Mint Green and It sported every concieable Sonderwunsch upgrade, also including PCCB s carbon seats etc. Ticket price was higher than a well spec'ed GT4/Spyder. Unfortunately i have no pics of it

Departing the pattern here as my car arrived earlier this week, see you out on the road. Wishing you all happiness and safe driving with your new cars (and quick turns for those still waiting).

Until the next car/TYD experience! Cheers.

Moving over from the 981S forum.
Finally got my Cayman GTS allocation today!
January 2024 delivery. Going to configure the car at the Porsche Design Studio by my house next week.
My 981S MT with all the trimmings (no rear wiper or Bose) will be going to a new home in Dec 2023.

NYK schedule says Panama passage is scheduled for 7/28... 6 days wait seems long. Hoping it's just a padded time window. Tho, there is roughly a 100 ships/boats in the area. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Time will tell.

This had changed from being delivered to my Dealer on September 26th, and who cares about a change of three little days since we all know this is an estimate anyway. I called Porsche NA on the 19th to ask if the Porsches being built in Osnabruck would be getting build photos, since it seemed no one on the Forum had been sent any and after a long delay a young lady returned to the phone to let me now that after my car was finished it could be up to a month before the pictures were released. She said since my car was not even set for Delivery till September 29th it would be a bit before it was built, and not to expect anything till then. She was super polite, told me to call back anytime if I had anymore questions and then...................................

Today I get a message from Porschewhile my wife and I are out with family celebrating her brother's wedding Anniversary so I do not notice the email. When checking just a little bit ago I notice a note is to inform me my car is done and on its way to the port and the estimated delivery to the Dealer is 8/24 !!! Crazy if the new estimate holds true, since it would be a full month early, and even realizing delays can occur, I may have my GTS much sooner than expected. I guess the Osnabruck Porsche production is really humming along!
I missed the memo and didn't realize Osnabruck was building them too. I checked my VIN and looks like my CGTS is an Osnabruck car too. I haven't had any build pictures either. My car completed build on 7/6 and is sitting at the port. 7/24 estimate to ship out but who knows.
Thanks for posting. I didn't know the second location and have been wondering about the build pictures.
