That's brilliant. I suspect that once your kid(s) outgrow it, you wouldn't have much trouble selling it on the Rennlist Marketplace to recoup a big portion of your outlay, either. Cheers!

Interesting, received the PECLA scheduling email today although the vehicle hasn't made it to port yet. Port arrival 6/17, handful of PECLA dates in in first half of August, mostly 2nd half available. Oof.

This is pretty normal. They only have 2 Pickup Rooms and they only do 2 pickups per day. When i did my pickup, the other person there was picking up his new Taycan. I received the scheduling email end of November. Car was still on the boat the time. Earliest time i could schedule for myself was 1/13/23 which was a month after the car had arrived at the Experience Center.

It's worth the wait! Do you know who your host is? Mine was Charles and my driving instructor was Hunter. If you end up getting either say hi for me! They'll remember Lawrence with the Python Green GT4.

Don't know yet, but may ask for Casper if he's available as he's apparently out here often coaching a member at many of the PCA HPDEs I attend.

Me three! What a surprise to get an email notification just as Siem Cicero pulled away from port yesterday. Almost gave up on tracking whatever boat comes next.

Is everyone getting email notifications from TYD?
I received the first one once my build was accepted, but nothing beyond that. My email notifications is on and I have checked my junk folder. Nothing.

I didn't receive any email notifications until milestone 4, and subsequently received email notifications for each milestone through milestone 7 (where I currently sit waiting to leave the German port). TYD has been rather hit or miss, which I think is a miss from a customer experience/user experience standpoint. Cheers.

Interesting... USA starts with 1 alpha digit proceeded by 5 numeric digits. Just assumed Canada would be the same.

Gorgeous car @MrFunk , congratz!

My Spyder finished production yesterday, and apparently it is going to be the last Spyder ever to arrive to North America, which I find kinda cool. Can't wait for ED on 08/31.
The dealer's finance manager also called this week to tell me about the payment schedule, which was reassuring as I had a small doubt\fear about them playing games at the very last minute cause of the MSRP allocation.
Nothing crazy, super nice dealer, doesn't request neither the German VAT nor California sales tax.

I also think a bigger issue is temperature. I want to be able to drive in the mountains and even on a sunny spring day temps can easily drop close to freezing. Cup2s are not ideal tires in those conditions.
