ditto, however for me the combination of the Soul OAP and Akrapovic slip-on is too much as anything other than (not sound limited) track use.

I am contemplating going with OAPs and rear exhaust/muffler. Any warranty concerns with OAPs? My understanding is that replacing the rear/muffler unit is not a big deal.

It's an equivalent part.... no lawyer (thank god) but I believe the Magnuson-Moss warranty act protects consumers against this. Emissions components and those affected by removal are going to get you in hot water warranty wise. If you are EU then I'd say yes the OAP will cause you an issue with Porsche (because the GPF is monitored) but in the US, we are, in my non professional interpretation "Good to Go" on the OAP and Rear section. Again not a lawyer (thank god) but I did stay at a Motel 6... couldn't afford the Holiday Inn.

I consulted my dealers Service Advisor, was told no worries on any warranty impacts. In fact, I reviewed and discussed reasons for a small list of mods I wanted to do, and had them give me an OK before proceeding. If your dealer has a good GT Mechanic, leverage that. They've likely seen EVERYTHING, and can advise as to what actually helps, and what's just snake oil.

Cheers.

Sorry, don't know why my friend is not jumping on this. Typical though!

@Larry Cable Hi Larry, did you receive your optimized flow cans from Cargraphic? I would really be interested to know how it changed the sound of your car.

@Louis Vermorel Check out the post that IL_Pete did in some of the recent threads in regards to his previous Cayman, and now soon to have installed Boxster GTS. He's been very happy with his and provides lots of great aspects!

We've launched two additional over axle pipe options:

Resonated Over Axle Pipes utilize straight through resonators to increase performance while reducing rasp and drone when paired with other exhaust upgrades. These pair great with aftermarket headers or rear exhaust sections to allow for maximum flow while cutting down on undesirable in cabin presence.

We're also now stocking our Competition Over Axle Pipes with Jet-Hot Extreme 1300 Classic Polish ceramic coating. With superior thermal management and corrosion resistance properties that lower surrounding temperatures by up to 65%, increased protection from thermal oxidation, galvanic corrosion and the ability to withstand 1250°F surface temperatures, there is no question as to why Jet-Hot Extreme 1300 remains the industry leader in exhaust coatings. An improvement over standard heat shields, ceramic coating is done professionally by Jet-Hot on both the outside AND inside of the exhaust for the best possible heat management. By keeping the velocity of the exhaust high, these coatings actually cause your exhaust gases to flow faster and decrease thermal tumbling which leads to improved power as well. Ceramic coatings keep away oil, gas, salt, and other metal degrading materials that your parts come into contact with every day as an added benefit. Classic Polish is the default finish choice as it is the Extreme 1300 base coat appearance (and most effective without a color top coat) but color top coats are optional with an extended lead time and additional charge.

Hi @Louis Vermorel yes I initially went with the Akrapovic slip on + a "straight thru" OAP, but the combination was TOO LOUD for me, at the suggestion of Eric @SupremePower I swapped out the OAPs for the
CarGraphic "Optimized Flow" design OAP - the resulting sound is much improved to my ear but its difficult to describe.

If I were doing it agin I would try Soul's resonated OAPs....
