GT4 Wide Angle Side Mirrors

me too! - I have one on the passenger side ... highly recommend it - especially with top up on the Spyder

top up its really that position that you need help with, that's where the asymmetric mirror comes into its own ... heated and auto dimming is not cheap ~$7xx but I think worth it!

Looking at the websites OP recommended. There seems to be 2 types offered. Clip on replacement for heated wing mirror, & adhesive direct stick on pre-existing mirror for non heated.
I did not opt for retractable mirror for my Spyder. Can anyone tell me if my mirrors have heated function , in order that I will be able to order the correct one. Thanks a lot.

I agree that it seems all side mirrors are heated. I do not have any mirror options on my '21 GT4 and ordered the clip on for heated mirrors. They have not yet arrived, but I am confident this is the correct choice.

hmintz- "..Removing the OEM mirrors requires motoring them down and towards the car as far as they will go. Then, working your skinny fingers as far behind the glass as you can get them, apply pressure. The "glass" (I think they are plastic) will snap off its holder..."
Just to be clear, you motor the mirrors as far inward as possible and then pull from behind the outside edge? My 981 repair manual shows it the opposite way, rotate mirror as far out as possible and then pull from behind the side nearest the car.
Expecting mine to arrive shortly and just want to be sure.
Thanks

Mirrors arrived today! I installed them easily exactly how "hmintz" and "Larry Cable" described. Very nice visibility improvement over the stock mirrors on the US cars.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I searched up this thread to see how to remove existing mirrors; my mother-given lady like fingers just could not pry off/out the mirror. So I found a thick fabric coaster and used it to buffer a flat head screwdriver, using that to pop out the mirror. Obviously you have to be very careful to make sure the cushion/coaster stays between the screwdriver shaft and the mirror edge; not for the faint of heart. I seem to have been successful at not marring the mirror housing.
If you have manly enough fingers, that is definitely the way to go.
