My opinion is there is nothing at all wrong with the BMW M-5's.
I owned three (3) of them and had lots of fun in all of them.
Also had an earlier model M-3 and actually I liked it better than the much-much faster M-5's.

4 hours left on this BAT GT4 stripper...already w/in 10% of sticker when you include BAT fees

Guess we’ll see what the market is today

Of course, but his comment was about the damping being bad, which it certainly is not. I'm talking about performance, not feel. A big heavy sedan is never going to be as rewarding of a driving experience as a lightweight two seat sports car. But in some cases it will offer equal to or better actual performance.

Agreed. In fact when you look at the design of the GT-R, and people complain about the 3900 lb weight, they forget that part of that weight is intentional to give the car a degree of traction that a lighter car won't have. It won't help how the car feels, but it will help make the numbers.

The BAT GT4 was bid to $93 on a $102 MSRP. With buyers premium about $5K under sticker. 1300 watching.

I guess that answers OPs question...today anyway.

About right, a little rich with the fees. $10k under sticker for a used GT4 seems reasonable to me. Paying sticker for a used GT4 is stupid.

Just picked my GT4 two weeks ago at MSRP off dealer out of state. There are several all across the country at MSRP and I can't imagine anyone paying over MSRP for GT4, it would be foolish to me.

I just saw a newspaper (remember them?) ad for a central NJ dealer who had a new GT4. They listed the MSRP, so I'm imagining they will sell it for that. White or chalk, IIRC.

Default Thoughts on move from 991.2 GT3 and GT3RS to GT4.

I bought my GT4 as an intro to the local Porsche dealer and to GT cars in general. I am "next in line" (for what that's worth) for a 992 GT3 Touring but having second thoughts as I am really liking the GT4. Why did you make the switch, and what are your reactions to the GT4?

This thread is a real trip down memory lane. Brand new GT4s under MSRP?!? Anyone getting more than a 5% discount??

But I wanted to point out that the actual same car that the original poster was talking about in this thread is currently available at Porsche Main Line in PA as a 3 owner, 4900 mi CPO car asking $20k over MSRP...

Indeed. I just paid 143 for a 133 sticker 2023 Spyder with 570 miles about a week ago.

They are trying to keep them above MSRP. Looking at price tracker data, you can see many have been sitting on lots and showrooms for several months, with the asking prices coming down.
