Yup happened to me twice in the past year now. A bit frustrating when it happens but my car likes to sit on the flatbed tow truck and go for a ride every now and again. Lol.
dealer said it shouldn’t happen again as he did what you indicated above until a permanent fix is available. Thanks for sharing as I’m glad it’s just not my bad driving habits making it happen.

PDK isn't flawless. On my previous 981 Cayman GTS, after some spirited driving, especially on less than perfect pavement, the tranny would , on occasion, go into a limp mode and wouldn't shift. I could drive in 2nd and 3rd. Eventually, I figured out that if I stopped the car, turned everything off and re-started after about 5 min, all would be fine again. But the first time this happened, I was quite upset. When I went to the dealer, they couldn't find anything wrong at all.

For those of us waiting on our cars to arrive from the factory, does anyone know if this something that the dealer would do automatically during PDI or would it need to be requested? Thanks!

This looks VERY doable at home, yes? Drop rear mid diffuser, apply two zip ties, replace diffuser, done? Any tricks to diffuser removal?
