981 GT4… There is a diffuser look for the rear bumper. No aero dynamic effect. Any aero effect on the rear is from the wing and the lower spoiler.

718 GT4 has an actual diffuser that does contribute to negative lift in addition to rear wing and lower spoiler.
The claim is 50% more ‘downforce’ overall for the whole car with no additional drag penalty.

I also just installed this wing, will be taking it to Thunderhill in ~2 weeks to test it out.
It’s gorgeous.
Jacob has also been really helpful in talking through it with me, and DBJ is a pleasure to do business with.

can you post pictures of your setup? I looked at the website and the height looks really high

Looks great! I think you will like it on track too!

I have mine mounted to the factory uprights so it's about the same height as stock. Some of the pictures on the DBJ website are on the higher RSNV mounts.

With the stock wing, the rear would wiggle significantly with hard braking into T12 at 145+mph. With the DBJ wing the wiggle is essentially gone even with more aggressive braking.
Thanks for sharing

OP back with another update. New PB at COTA after putting the Akra link pipes back on and swapping the JCR rear section back to the stock one. I was over a second quicker compared to my last time out, and more consistent. Definitely more power with the Akra link pipes, but I'm getting more comfortable with the downforce from the wing and am able to take advantage of the extra grip in several places now. This wing rocks!

Question, I test drove a Cayman S a month ago, it was slowly being modified for more of a track car, it had a carbon fiber tail, similar to this, and once I went on the freeway, I noticed the rear wing start vibrating/oscillating in middle part of the wing, I thought that cant be a good thing, have you seen this occur with this wing?

How come you removed the JCR rear section?
too much noise?

This wing is quite stiff and has no noticeable flex with repeated laps on track up to 150 mph.

Sound and noise level above 4K RPM was amazing, but the drone from 2K->3K gave me a headache so I put the stock rear section back on.

It seems just replacing the OPF is the conservative and popular move if you want to keep things civil and not kill your ears/head

Yes indeed. I have just the Akra OPF delete pipes on now and the drone is minimal, and the power and sound increase is nice!

Reviving your old thread because I'm curious if you've played with AOA anymore, and if so what have you found?

I actually haven't touched the AOA since I moved to 305 rear tires. With 265F/285R it had a bit too much oversteer, but now with 305 R I like the balance.

Hey mister, so 20" wheels with 265F/305R is feasible in GT4/Spyder yes? I should probably read the entire thread but which suspension mods would allow it? OEM would do? Many thanks
