I am not sure I am the right person to answer since I think my setup is an overkill (I consider it is better to be safe then sorry). I really like to review the videos / photos and relive those moments - hence the effort I put into making sure I have those videos / photos.
I use the following systems independently:
- main camera GoProHero 9. It is mounted here:
You might consider a similar position.
- secondary camera (in case the Hero 9 doesn't record for some reason and I only find out after the fact): Garmin Dash Cam 65 mounted here:
If the GoPro video is OK, the Garmin video is automatically overridden.
In case the Hero 9 goes bad, or I want to have another angle, I also have a GoPro Session 5 just in case.
- Porsche Track Precision App without video capture. If all works well, it captures the lap data and I overlay a black background after the fact. They I export the newly created video.
Corel Video Studio I edit the final video: add the Hero 9 video, add the bottom part of the Porsche Track Precision App video and add the circuit map that I also take from the Porsche Track Precision App. I sync the video "by hand" especially looking at the ESP system. The TrackPrecison App can lose a few milliseconds of data but that is barely noticeable and it doesn't impact the overall video.
- I have a VBox Sport with an external antenna also mounted in case the Track Precision App fails so as to have data about the lap (like G's, time, speed or other information).
Hope this helps!
If you have any other questions, I will glad answer.

A short update with this years' track plans...
I have already made the payments or down-payment for the following events:
- May 20th - Nurburgring Manthey Racing TrackDay
- May 23rd - Spa-Francorchamps TrackDay
- July 7th - Brno TrackDay
- August 31st - September 1st - Hungaroring Porsche Track Experience Master GT
If you happen to be on these - say Hi at some point .
On top of that I will also do some Touristenfahrten and I would like to visit some other trackdays closer to home - but nothing planned.
In preparation for the new season, I gave the car a nice clean - removing most of the winter salt - and bought new tires for the rear.
All the best!

@v_rex looking forward to hearing about your Masters GT experience...
BTW what are the "build dates" on those new MPSC2's?
