Geez, coming on Rennlist for advice on a simple matter is like going to WebMd, typing in headache as your symptom and getting back a diagnosis of lung cancer.

OP, don’t sweat it. Relax, let them fix it and then pick up your new car. Reading some of the posts in this thread makes me understand why we have QAnon...

Sometimes it is a bad diagnosis. I had a weird thing with my car. Sat in port 14 days. Many other cars released from that shipment. I called the dealer one morning and he said no updates. I 'dropped' by that day about noon and magically the car had been "gate released" but they had no idea when the car would arrive, they suspected a couple more days. There was a big car delivery truck sitting there and I said hey maybe its in there... hahahaha. I left and got a call 30 minutes later 'Hey your car is here! Come get it in an hour...' weird stuff at these dealers... Never did get true story. Maybe car was damaged... or maybe used to shuttle pedophiles back and forth thru the Hollywood Hills. Ill never know... Q

Braman Porsche in West Palm is an excellent dealer. Don’t let the negative comments from the peanut gallery ruin your delivery experience. Remain positive and enjoy your new GT4!

your comment reminded me of a true story
in our area we have a lot of migrating birds that live all winter in Florida
so I was seeing an elderly patient in the office, and the previous night I saw on the news that there was a shark attack off the coast in Florida
so I the story of the shark attack came up
and my patient told me
Doc in Florida we have a saying: The Sharks are not in the water

Personally if this was me I'd be Totally Appreciative of the Porsche Dealership and that Technician.
Just so you know ............
They don't just jump-up and order parts for No-Good-Reason especially for a "Brand-New-Porsche".
Those parts have to be turned-in for Porsche Credit since it's Warranty !!!

Seriously, your in Great-Hands so stay Relaxed and let your Porsche Dealership take care of business.

And as many have already posted on top of the excellent service your also getting [FREE] goodies life don't get much better than that.

Terry

If you take delivery at the Porsche Experience Center who does the PDI? Does the dealer do it then ship the car to them or do they do it at the Center?

They have their own shop for PDI's just like the Corvette Museum does for Corvette deliveries.

It's my understanding that if you do PEC delivery, the car never goes to the actual selling dealer and goes straight to PEC for PDI and delivery. You arrange/complete sale a couple of weeks ahead of PEC delivery.

Since it is in the building with their NA HQ they are probably pretty good at it.
