Default Email Notification Sounds - How to permanently block?

Anyone know how to get rid of the annoying ping of email notifications thru the console? I am using Android and know how to turn them off in the car (Phone > OPT button > Phone settings > tone and sounds > then uncheck. BUT it comes back when car starts up next time or the phone reconnects. Super annoying. Is there a global default way to stop these notifications? Thx in advance.

No idea but does anyone know how to stop getting emails from Rennlist when someone else replies to a thread?

Look at the bottom of the email notification its under unsubscription Information. You just click the noted page to unsubscribe. You can also hit the All Threads page to unsubscribe from all threads.

I find it really annoying too. Every time I turn it off, it is back on the next time I start the car. I talked to my service manager. He told me there is no way to permanently deactivate it.

Go into your profile and adjust your settings...alternatively, you can opt out of individual threads at the bottom.

Just tell off all your clients, family, and friends and you’ll never get bothered again. 😏 Or just turn off your phone.

But yeah, I wish there was another way. Perhaps there will be software update...

Put your phone in "Do Not Disturb" mode in the car - this should stop all notifications

Found a setting in the sound menu that will turn off the alerts.

1. Press the home button
2. Sound
3. Volume
4. It's the last setting

Someone please tell me the Bose gets better with time. My previous Bose was "acceptable", but even with 24 bit files the new one sounds pretty harsh.

Thanks, but that’s exactly what I did. It resets to “on” with every restart.
