Default Spyder rear emblem options

I plan to check the rear emblem delete option and then just put “Spyder” back on after PPF. I’ve seen the 718 Spyder option on Suncoast (would just ditch the 718 part) but just wanted to see if I’m missing any other options that you’ve come across. Perhaps from other model years, different sizes, etc.

Thanks,
Jeff

I did the model designation delete as well as the blacked out Porsche logo and will leave it that way. I like the stealth look, plus it’s easier to clean.

I also went with the model designation delete and then just purchased the "Spyder" logo.

Here is the label with p/n for the badge my dealer gave me.

does it come with 3M tape for installation? Do you mind sharing where you bought it from? Thanks

Thanks everyone for the insight, I knew the hive mind wouldn't disappoint!

I saw on Suncoast that they had both the 718 Spyder emblem as well as the much cheaper 987 version, I just wasn't sure about the size difference. A bit bigger would be a good thing I think and saving $100 is always a nice bonus. Matte black works just fine on the bumper.

You can also buy the 981 model emblem as well, that's what I did. Have no idea about how much (*if) bigger the logo is though....

I went this route and I'm afraid that adding SPYDER above it would be redundant. (As much as I like the black script on white.)

Does anyone know why Porsche isn't willing to just send the emblem without it being attached to the car?

Anyone installed the larger 987.2 Spyder logo, with a photo?

Ordered my car without rear logo, debating between 9 x 1.5 Spyder logo, or the smaller 6.75 x 1.5 Spyder logo, sans 718 of course.

unfortunately I think the answer is because they don’t give a damn what you or I want even if it’s a completely logical request. I wish they would allow you to no charge delete the washer nozzles on the higher grade headlights, or delete the rear parking sensors, things like that, it would save them money. It’s frustrating but they are masters of frustrating their customers and their cars still get bought because they’re so damn good at their intended purpose. I was in a McDonalds in the Frankfurt airport and I ordered my drink with no ice and I got it and could see through the cup the liquid was way lower than the lip. I asked them if they could please fill it up and a bunch of workers scurried over all puzzled. Eventually one of them spun the cup around and pointed to a yellow fill line. All I could do was laugh as I thought ha, German McDonalds has just made me feel the same kind of frustration that Porsche often does. It’s just the way it is, and I think it’s unlikely to change unless the company hits the skids again financially and they actually have to listen to the customer on smaller stuff like accommodating similar things to your example.

No they wouldn't. They make more money with those things than leaving them off. Always someone that b1tches about something. How many car manufacturer's still do the ala carte options as much as Porsche does instead of the package model instituted by the Japanese and adopted by the domestics?

On the headlight washers they would run afoul of cert regulations. If you don't like it buy the base ones and then replace'em with the ones you want.
