I think there is a limit to what Porsche can do at scale without introducing quality control issues and significant costs. There is always Porsche exclusive / special wish options to deal with that but the costs are crazy as a result.

On the headlight washers they would run afoul of cert regulations. If you don't like it buy the base ones and then replace'em with the ones you want.
I hope I will live long enough to see ExMB one day actually agree with somebody on something. How exactly would they make less money for allowing the customer to opt out of a feature when they keep the price as if the feature is there?

I decided that my butt was too plain and needed some attention, so I bought the 987 logo per the above recommendations (thanks).

My wife and sisters say that I have no butt, but now I guess my car has a proper one.

And that 987 version is the proper size...

Default Silver SYPDER

Anyone put the Silver SPYDER on the back of the car (instead of the black SPYDER) on the bumper? If so, please share a pic.

Certainly makes sense if you also have the standard "chrome" Porsche lettering on the rear

Yeah, I have a Gentian Blue Spyder coming, along with the standard chrome "PORSCHE" above. I was just thinking that it might match and look good... but, can't find anyone that has tired it yet.

I think he was referring to the Silver version since I am not aware of a Chrome Spyder emblem.

Thanks Bob! Yea I've spent some time but still can't find silver/chrome Spyder emblem.
Am thinking of silver emblem to match the side and rim.

I see so many changing the '718 Spyder' emblem to the variations of previous generations. I actually took it back many, many generations back to what was on the 550 Spyder! Admittedly, my inspiration came from Janko Lind of the Art of Driving (on YouTube). Here's how it turned out:

I purchased it from Sierra Madre (https://sierramadrecollection.com/pr...-models-p17818). It required just a bit of modification in removing the pins on the back side (not terribly difficult), and having it painted black. I had it done at a shop in a matte finish, but you could probably do it yourself if you were so inclined.

bought 981 version of Spyder emblem, removed original '718 spyder' emblem while whole car PPF was getting applied, but never ended up putting the emblem on, like the look of the rear without emblem, since it's barely noticeable anyway (on a black car)
