Safe parking and as few people as possible...
Try something in Fredericksburg. The Hanger Hotel is where they host Boxster Fest. This way you’re miles off the interstate and plenty of good quiet options.

I am personally not looking to be gone all day. Half day run, meet and greet the group, and get another run thrown out for the group is what I am looking to get across the goal line.

I hope that others start throwing out runs in their respective areas. Options are good. With that, it is certainly easier to just throw out a start point and time with an approximate drive time to get these things coordinated. The whole public forum aspect of this makes it a bit of a pain to get this going. Totally worth it if we can get a group going though!
Depending on what the boss has planned for me I am going to come out to the starting point in the morning to meet you guys.

Good luck Gus. I hope you have it all taken care of by this weekend. If not, great paint will be worth the wait.

Shaggy, sounds good to me. I know nothing about any of those roads and am totally down for whatever you think is best. The only thing we need to hash out is an endpoint and ETA so WCW can meet there. Any idea how long the route you’re talking takes? I’m guessing about 1.75 hours. Crafthouse looks good for an end point.

WCW, you good for meeting in San Marcos? I could have sworn you already said yes but I don’t see it in the thread above.

I checked with Crafthouse, they have dine in seating but limited to 10 people

will plan on joining the group if you'll let a 45,000 mile 981 GT4 follow along

anyone interested in stopping at H2R after lunch

Shot you a PM! Give me a text or call to ease this scheduling. I'm only on here sparingly. Moreso lately simply because of this thread.

Busy with work today, gave you a call. Hit me up whenever.

JSF, 981 GT4s good in my book. See you there. And pat on the back for using the car as it was intended. I plan on driving the snot out of my Spyder. Made the mistake of holding on to a car for 11 years and had a grand total of 5K miles when I sold it. Just hooked the new owner up with a new car basically.

Generally some good space inside and out if we have to split into 2 parties.

I’m going to scout some of the roads west of bee cave...any suggestions from the group?

Just found this thread, I am in Austin and mostly down for drives. I am without a P car for now but should be in one soon hopefully. Subscribed!

Looks like our humble group from H-town is growing in size.

P, are we meeting at our usual starting point?

I'll be heading up from SA to rendezvous in San Marcos. If any in the area are interested in syncing up to make the trip LMK!
