Lime Creek to Wimberly on the morning of 16Jan (Sat). In Wimberly, WCW will propose the next drive around the SA area.

Below are the people I am tracking will currently join, seven currently. I’ll repost a general scheme this weekend. Distro route morning of. Weather looks doable so far.

Am I missing anything???

I'm still eyeing this with my schedule and the weather...

When you say "Lime Creek" area, where is that? All I can find is Lime Creek RD on the east side of Lake Travis.

Thanks

Shaggy

Hello Texas group, I just secured an allocation for a spyder (July delivery)
One of my hobbies is fabrication. I would like to build my own over axle pipes . Does anyone have there removed GPF pipes (over axle) I could borrow to use as a template. If you do please PM me

Unfortunately I can't make it on Jan 16th. I'll be out running at COTA with Chin on Jan 30-31. Anybody else running at COTA that weekend?

https://members.roadstogo.com/about-...driving-roads/

That link has a blurb on lime creek and a picture. I’ve driven it a few times and it has been enjoyable. The road surface is well maintained. The actual Lime Creek rd portion of the drive isn’t that long. Take a look on google.

I’ve never been from Lime Creek rd to Wimberly on any route so can’t say how that is. According to google, the route I laid out was about 60 miles.

RR 12 from Dripping Springs to Wimberley is the equivalent of 281 N/S....lots of traffic, I was on it recently heading up into Austin mid-week, mid-morning and it was a **** show. I'll take a look at the route and offer some suggestions.

Perhaps I good question is where is everyone coming from and what is there tolerance for mileage and in what direction? Maybe we can take this onto PM, pretty sure you can address multiple people.

Just a quick proposal from the Houston area......we could meet you guys in ATX early and take your route. After your route the thought is head towards the Sisters instead of the SAT route. Driving the Sisters would bring everyone back south and we could pick up the SAT route or call it a day.......thoughts..........Phil

With respect to runnin the sisters...even if you start in SAT, it’s an all day event. That’s if you do all three, 335,6, and 7...I mean you’re out in Rock Springs lol.

There is a Houston GT3 group that hits the sisters mid week occasionally...haven’t participated, but imagine it’s full tilt.

I am certainly down for running the sisters at some point and all the other routes the group knows of in their respective areas. I am personally not looking to be gone all day this first run though. I just want to get this coordination thread off the ground and I think a half day drive will better accomplish that.

Yes, this weekend is going to suck for weather. I just went for a quick drive and quickly discovered they are already brining the roads in preparation for Sunday.

PM sent to the people meeting for the drive portion. Austin718Spyder, your account does not allow PMs. The starting point and link up time will be posted well before we do this regardless so unless you want to chime in on the route, you're not missing anything.

Can't wait to do this!!!

Let us know Gus. I did the same with PPF. The corporate store in Austin did a great job on my car. I recommend them highly.
Ha! My car is at Austin XPEL right now ... should get it back by Wednesday.
