Default Clear vs. yellow cornering light?

Please take a couple moments to share why you chose clear vs yellow cornering lights.

Also, is it a Porsche part or aftermarket?

Thanks,
Greg

Not trying to be the corner light police but they're not yellow. They're amber/orange. ...now that we got that out of the way.

OEM clear because the amber/orange doesn't match anything on my car and it doesn't look good on my Riviera Blue. The clear corner lights up as amber/orange, btw.

I chose clear side markers also. Goes with GT silver better to my eyes. Had the dealer installed it for free before delivery. Also did not get color crest on wheels.

The orange side markers don’t match any color combos.

Clear works on anything.

When lit the clear are still amber, so legal.

Get the OEM ones online for $130.

You’re welcome

Purely an aesthetic choice.

Apologies for any possible color sensibilities/pronouns that I may have offended.

I’m waiting for a Gentian Blue CGTS 4.0. That color thread is 50/50 clear vs AMBER/ORANGE, and I can see the appeal. So clear it is!

Thanks everyone!
Greg

Its a North American market requirement for yellow side lights. RoW is clear.

clear look a lot better and you can get them from Suncoast for US$125. Replace them in less than 5 minutes.

Usually everyone’s first modification. More aesthetically pleasing. And in the World of Porsche, one of the more inexpensive mods.

I tried a few years ago. Suncoast wants $130 US plus a ridiculous shipping charge and possible customs fees and duties - they aren't worth $250+. Anybody know where else to get/order these in Canada? My dealer thinks that they are illegal in Ontario and won't get them.

Just plain looks better. Enough going on with the Neodyme wheels anyway!

Sorry, if I were coming to Ontario I’d bring a set for you. Do you ever visit the US? Buy and ship it to your hotel…
