It's nice to know that Porsche still hasn't figured out shift cables. Signed 987.2 6MT owner who just spent $2000 replacing broken shift cables.

Seriously though, hope everyone's car gets sorted out.

Another reason why I'm glad I got a PDK GT4.

You don't have to get the metal rod ends. I personally didn't. The cables definitely make a weird vibrating noise almost like the computers back in the 90's loading sound. To correct it, my installer wrapped a bunch of Dynamat around the cables. Can't hear anything now @usctrojanGT3

I don't find the Numeric cables to be noisier than stock cables, probably because I also paid for the silicone tubing they sell. I did not go for the metal rod ends. This is a great upgrade to the car.

Sucks, but glad it was a quick fix for you. Maybe this is why Porsche made second gear so long!

Thanks.
Metal Rod Ends are recommended for track cars, that are bit noisier. But our regular rod ends, for street cars are aluminum and secure on with a plastic grommet to not add any extra noise!

Glad it was a simple fix. What kind of water and oil temps are you seeing on the track?
