After discussions with Porsche and Hennessy Porsche I bought a 981GTS for transportation until the 982 is delivered.

I love those rims! Hard to find someone who has satin black, how have they been to maintain? Did you get them ceramic coated as well?

How's that Burmester? Any experience with Bose in a Cayman for comparison?

It's not as good as Burmester in larger cars like Macan, Cayenne, Panamera, etc., probably due to the limited space and numbers of speakers. But I think it still retains the silky high-end characteristics of Burmester systems and goes loud as I want. In sports mode, the low end conflicts with the low-frequency noise from engine and exhaust. It can be a bit bothersome, but still miles better than the stock/Bose options, in my opinion.

I've also got allocation for GT4, but might pass on it due to the lack of Burmester option on it. (Yes, I love music and it's one of the reasons I am debating myself.)

Chalk over black. Just picked it up on Friday. Coming from many M cars and an AMG C63S Coupe. First Porsche and I couldn't be more pleased. Ready to get it broken in so that I can release the horses from the barn. Went with the Burmester as well as I had the Burmester in my AMG and it was pretty amazing. Really happy with that option. Getting PPF this Friday.

Very nice. That Chalk color is really growing on me! Did you go with SPASM or PASM option?

I too came over from the M world. Really loving the White accents (i.e. White tach) against Chalk exterior, not sure I've seen a ton of that. Enjoy in good health, awesome car.

Yeah - I was back and forth on the Chalk before locking it in but now that I have it, I really love it. Never had a car even remotely close to this color but have already had tons of compliments on the color. I went with SPASM. It sits pretty low and in the last 5 days, I have already scraped the front end a couple of times. Just have to take it slower out of my driveway and I have the correct path now.

The white tach I really like and it is really much closer to the chalk color than white. So it matches up really well. Appreciate it. I am loving it.

Yeah - odd that they don't. I think the white gauges look great with my chalk exterior.
