If that is easily changeable, then I would do the vent surrounds also if possible.

I am considering this on my GTS MF wheel when it comes in (black MF switches and lower trim piece). Pulling the wheel apart isn't too hard, I had to do it on a 991.2 wheel. I think this looks better on a Spyder than a GTS, though, since there are less silver bits on the Spyder interior. If I had a Spyder I would definitely do this.

When I was inquiring about CXX interiors I was told the vent surrounds were not possible because of the construction so I doubt that they are changeable

If you do CF, you can go with db carbon (no affiliation)

You made me look again at doing it on the MF wheel...looks like $246 for me. I think I'll wait until I have the car in hand and see what I think. I definitely like it on your Spyder interior though.

Would be interested in these if you could get them in same finish as platinum satin wheel option.

Silver is a bit too light and black is too dark. Would be a nice middle ground, and conveniently would match my wheels.

I'm getting aluminum dash, silver stitching and silver belts so it may be nice to change the steering wheel trim as others have mentioned (don't want it to be too bright on the interior). I failed to find the black replacement parts on Suncoast, anyone have a link from another website?

I was looking into this before I got my Spyder. This Mod requires removing the airbag and steering wheel.

yeah it could be a PITA ... but probably simpler than changing an air filter!
