How to track shipment of your car
I'm hoping someone can help me out and post the crib notes of how to track your car after it exits production. I know there's an Edmen thread and I'm sure it's in there somewhere but I'm not trying to go through 1300 posts and doing the search comes up with all kinds of other threads so it's not a perfect science. Maybe the right answer can turn it into a sticky.
It seems like the first step in tracking your car after it exits production is your SA will tell you which ship it will be on. If this is accurate, then I guess we need to stay in communication with our SA to get this information. If so, how long after it exits production will the SA know which ship it will be on?
From there, can someone breakdown the steps of how you track the car from finding out which ship it's on to when it's delivered at port? TIA.

My car is expected to enter port of Edmen on 2/5/21 and exit port of Edmen on 2/26/21. That's a long time to just be chilling at port.

If you click on this link and then "Americas" it brings up a schedule that seems to have most of the boats used lately.

Oh, and yes, all of the info is in the "Emden" thread..... I spent quite a bit of time reading though that one a month ago! ;-)

I think that's just a buffer they factor in to cover boat schedules and your destination port. Mine is targeted to arrive in Emden 12/11/2020 and depart 01/01/2021. Not sure I want someone with a new years day hangover loading my Spyder

So can our cars be boarded on any of the Hyundai Glovis line ships, or are they limited to just the ships that show up under “Volkswagen Konzernlogistik Esport” on the PWL group page? Trying to figure out which ship my car will be on as my car was scheduled for completion today (10/23).

This is an excellent post, which I printed in July, when I finally had an allocation. One update though is that the ship my car is on NEVER appeared on https://www.pwl.de/en, maybe Porsche is using additional shippers during Covid. In any event, your SA can find the ship name once it departs Emden, don’t be too concerned if there is no ship scheduled to exit Emden for your destination port on the date your vehicle should depart Emden.
