It shuts off only when the following is true: at a stop (foot on brake), in neutral, clutch released. Unsure about PDK, but I’d suspect something similar.

Actually it is down to a 3-cylinder, as it alternates banks...

In my Cayenne, it shuts off when on brake and shifting to reverse from drive. Everytime i back into my driveway. Annoying.

I think I will likely get the T-design module when I get my car, but in case anyone has access to OBDII software, this thread might be helpful.

This. All day. Super simple, and you'll never think about A S/S or cylinder deactivation again.

Does anyone know if the 4 cyl models also have A/S/S?

But does t-design9 offer it for GT4/Spyder?

I don't think so, and I wrote them and never got a reply.

Wow, that’s so retarded. Astonished Porsche would let such a thing go by.

Porsche doesn't go around making different hardware/systems so the probability is that it will work as the functions on the GT4/Spyder might be different but they are the same buttons as other 718s.

I just meant that we paid the premium to not have the 2.0/2.5 4cyls, so why would we want to hear a very terrible 3cyl sound that is even worse than a 4cyl

I purchased it and installed it (on a 718 GT4) at ~250 miles and it has worked flawlessly (and am now at ~1500 miles).

Bingo. Probability that it works is 1 (eg bought it, installed it, and proved it works).

On my daily driver Macan, there is start up memory for the ***, suspension firmness and ride height setting. So once the *** is turned off once, it will stay off permanently until I actively turn it on again. Not sure why it couldn't have been this way here ??

This is just part of the path to having it not able to be turned off eventually: Introduce *** and allow people to disable, then make it so *** is on all the time by default but still able to be turned off, then *** never goes away.

I am not an *** man
