Will the GT4 sounds like which car or better?
I made this clip sometime ago and I am interested for opinion on comparison to GT4. The 997,2 has standard exhaust with "Gundo Hack" using 2 in. pipe. The Macan Turbo PP has PSE but I believed the PSE was off. Will the stock GT4 sounds closer to the 997.2 or it will need the OAP pipe? I love the sound of my 997.2 and I would like the soon to be GT4 to be comparable to it.

Closer to the 997.2, but a bit quieter.
In PSE quiet mode, it sounds very similar to my 987.1 with stock exhaust. In PSE loud mode, it’s considerably louder and different in tone, also might crackle a tiny bit sometimes (though nothing like the excessive artificial crackles of the 981/991.1), though it’s not as high pitched as the 981 due to less mixing between left and right banks.
The main difference/drawback is that the exhaust switches to quiet mode between 1800-5000 RPM in first gear, and 1800-3700 RPM in other gears. This is mainly to meet European urban noise regulations, and also partly to reduce drone with the flaps open in the 1800-3000 RPM range.
The car sounds alright with the exhaust flaps open, though people complain the flaps remain closed when driving around town (intentional by Porsche for Europe).
