My Car Is Still At The Dealership!
Basically car arrived over a week ago. Still sitting at the dealership waiting for pdi. They can’t even give me a date for pick up. They keep telling me they are busy. How long does it normally take once car arrives at the dealership? This is my first Porsche. I don’t remember waiting that long with other cars

Something doesn't seem right. My SA sent me a pic of my car when it arrived at the dealership and was ready for pickup a few days later. I can't image they are that busy right now given covid-19. Even if they are busy, they should be able to provide a date for pickup. Ask them to send you a pic of your car. Or just visit the dealership and say you want to see the car even if it hasn't completed PDI yet.

From delivery to my delivery was 3 working days and that included installing PPF on the car!

Seems odd. My car did sit at the dealership for a few weeks but it was due to transport scheduling. How much do you trust your dealer to be honest with you?

As others have stated, call the Dealer Principal, or GM, talk to someone who has reason to care.
Service department is likely backed up and its a dispatching problem. Tech's love to do PDI's as they are easy and pay well. My guys would always stay late to do them.
This is a get off the truck, PDI, detail in 1-2 days deal max !

It's either sitting in their inventory, taking up space and losing them money (they haven't gotten your $$ yet)
OR
(worst case) - they've sold it to someone else.
At the very least, go in to the dealership and ask to see the car whether it's been PDI'd or not (you're just an excited owner who can't wait). If it isn't ready yet, then it's an easy transition to get some answers.

As others have said not normal.
Sounds like they are being evasive, go see the car today to ensure it’s not being repaired from transit damage.

Over the years once my car gets to the dealership my cars have never taken more than a few hours to get PDI'd and ready for delivery. If I were you I'd head to the dealer unannounced and ask to see the car. My concern would be that its been damaged etc.

Is your dealer family owned, or by some corporation like CarMax/AutoNation?

Bring a paint meter when you go to pick up your car. Just saying, I speak from experience.
