Yeah I don’t get all the hoopla around PCCB. I’ve had them on other P cars and this is my second Spyder. Don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. They look cool and feel good. Also, this car will be tracked.

If its not on the PTS list on the configurator they will 100% stick you with that fee.

Agreed... on many levels. The PCBS really do two things for most who get them 1- no dust 2- bragging rights - I have had them on two cars including a GT3 RS and currently have steels on our 2020 C4S.. The stopping power is amazing but the steels are as well and the PCCB's on the track don't reach brake fade as fast. For me in the mountains and cooler weather, the PCCB's take forever to get warmed up to work properly or as well as steels and on the street with GT3Touring I will never reach the limit of the steels ( my touring will never be a track car, that is for the others

Yup. And I believe it will take a lot longer as well since they have to test the colour on the Turbo.

Just realised I’m on a Spyder thread. No wonder each pic is more gorgeous than the next. Before I retreat to my more humble abode, may I ask one question? When your car finally makes it to the shop, how long does it take to manufacture? Does PTS add a delay at that point to or is the main delay waiting to get a PTS manufacturing slot?

Just looked back at the timeline for my PTS build and it took about 3 weeks from start to finish. I've never built a non-PTS car to compare it to though so don't know if PTS build time is longer or shorter.

Yeah the main delay is getting into a PTS window - the production time should be the same, Porsche doesn't want a bunch of half finished cars sitting there - they need to make their way through the production line without holding anything up. 3 week production is on par with my experience but I did have to delay my build by about 2 months to get into a pts window.

Ours has finally arrived. It got built without the memory steering column so it had to be re-coded by the shop to get the memory seats to work. Still some car connect (Vodaphone) issues to sort through.

Yes, it has the injector noise (or whatever it really is).

What is the name of your orange PTS? I wish they would add signal orange again. Another great orange color from the 1970’s.

Do you have the names of these three blues by chance?

Wow! The yellow pccb works quite well with satin aurum. I was a bit worried about the yellow/gold combination and painted the pccb black. Do you have any side profile pictures? Also, great spec! Ours look almost identical haha
