This is great poll. Thanks for starting it, OP. I've always liked silver wheels on most any of the Porsche colors, sit's a classic look. I specced silver wheels for my CWM 981 GT4. I even voted for silver in this poll. But, I think I have to agree with JAhmed that the silver wheels would look best with a black caliper on GBM, as there's just too much going on. I think for me it has to do specifically with the GBM color. I've really been digging the GBMs with platinum wheels and yellow calipers along with the yellow interior accents. However, if you look at Shockwave's Sapphire Blue 981 GT4 with the silver wheels and PCCBs / yellow calipers on the 981 G4 sub-forum, I have to admit that that's a stunning image, and it probably looks even better in person. I DO think that the black wheels fad of the past 10-15 years or so is waning. And, while it's good, there's nothing more classic than silver wheels with most of the colors Porsche offers, especially with a dark color. At this moment, if I was going to spec a car, I'd choose GBM with platinum wheels and yellow calipers (whether I actually got the PCCBs, or painted the calipers of the steel rotors from red to yellow myself), along with yellow accents.
I voted Aurum. Gentian is a classy and at least in my opinion a conservative colour and the Aurum to me gives it a supplementary punch. I went conservative as well... white (CWM), but used the seatbelt option in sharp contrast to achieve something similar.
The contrast of the red calipers on the Aurum furthers the impact. 4midable... hats off to you, as I think the red cage ties everything together even that much further. However without the cage coordination I'd still vote Aurum regardless.
Thanks Jim...and if you plan ahead...Aurum can be tied into the colour scheme further than just the badge on the hood.
Everyone entitled to their opinion of course, but I'll simply fire back on the Aurum comment with this...maybe better to say Aurum is not the boring choice...so I guess not for everybody.
I went with Platinum. I am over black wheels entirely, silver looked too bright and aurum just screams Subaru STI to me.
I was going to say the same thing about Subaru STI with GB and aurum combo!
I ordered platinum on my GB Spyder as well. Black dulls up the car, GB looks dark in the shade. On GT Silver or Chalk I would have considered black and aurum wheels.

I actually think this combo is probably the best for Aurum wheels ... looks great!

Black for Spyder and Aurum for GT4. I've seen both and was shocked at how good the Aurum looked on the GT4 in person versus pics. Also think platinum would work on both but not seen it yet in person on Spyder or GT4. Silver to me is best for white or GT Silver.
I personally don’t like Black wheels as a general rule. The GT4 wheels look awesome but the eye catching details all get lost in black. Especially with a dark coloured car. Silver contrasts well with gentian but platinum is a good middle ground. Arum looks ok but is not for me.
If I ordered gentian I would have got silver wheels. But I ordered white so I went with the platinum.
There was a near perfect spec gentian GT4 that was for sale when I was shopping around and the only reason I didn’t buy it was because it had black wheels.
