I assumed that if you got PTS, the Sat radio wart would be painted too but it seems that people posting in the GT3 Touring thread are showing that the wart isn't painted. Has anybody confirmed if the wart is painted or will it come as black with PTS?

Likely will have to wait till the first PTS deliveries to show up. For what it is worth the PTS 991.2 speedsters had their warts painted. Hopefully they will be painted, I found it very strange that they did not paint them on the 991.2 gt3.

Not having it painted would be weird. Would be nice if there was a CXX option to not have SAT radio and the wart at all. I think there would be a number of takers to pay Porsche to remove that feature. I know I would.

not sure why you’re asking for “confirmation” when the GT3 forum has confirmed this multiple times.
The sat radio wart is not painted on any pts car whether that be 991 or 718

agree. I certainly asked Porsche but was denied. Had it fixed after purchase of my 991.2 GT3. Took some work but it was worth it.

I'm not asking for confirmation if the wart is painted on the GT3. I'm asking for the 718 PTS as I haven't heard anybody mention it. The reason why I'm asking is because on the Touring forum people ordered PTS and assumed the wart would be painted, then when it arrived they were surprised that it wasn't painted. I'm asking again here on the 718 forum for people that have ordered PTS if there was any mention of it. As I haven't seen any discussion, I assume nobody thought of it just as nobody thought of it in the Touring forum.

Your statement is not entirely correct. 991 speedsters in PTS have painted warts. Will have to wait and see with the 718.

GT3 perhaps this is the case but I suppose things are allowed to change from time to time.

Best of luck to those going PTS on this already hideous antenna nub. It's bad enough bodycoloured let alone black. For $10k+ you'd think it's a reasonable expectation.

Stupid question but do we always get the wart in the US (even if we don’t spec the Porsche satnav)?

I spec’ed Apple carplay but not the full satnav. I also paid 12k for PTS therefore will be super pissed if there is a black wart on my roof....

Thanks. Can you please confirm how you know? I will be calling my SA first thing in the AM to make sure it’s taken care of as that’s unacceptable.
