In-line shutoff for vacuum lines

There are inexpensive egr purge valves and a/c vacuum valves that are 12v solenoid controlled. They could be hooked into a simple toggle switch to control the exhaust vacuum lines. I'm researching sources and nipple sizes. For instance, look on Amazon:

VACUUM SOLENOID VALVE, 2 PORT W/BRACKET 12V

I just bought one on eBay for $13. For that price I can experiment.

That's a good idea, but that's what SOUL is already offering with a nifty integrated controller and what not. But then again, your solution is probably a 1/4 of the cost vs. theirs.

This would go beyond putting it in PSE ON mode. The valves would always be open whereas even with PSE ON the valves are closed at lower RPMs
