I bedded mine right after delivery and never heard a squeak.

4350 miles roughly and they have been bedded in properly. It's maddening.

I like how that spider chart goes right to the edge almost in all criteria. Zero compromises!

I went with the surface transform solution. I had steel OEM and ST have s seemless modification kit that does not require change of caliper. It feels like a significant upgrade with the following benefits that i noticed :
1- i can feel the reduction of the unsprung resulting in a much better suspension compliant feeling and the maneuverability of the car (street driving) feels a lot more agile. I would say this is the biggest benefit even though the initial motivation was to deal with brake dust.
2- the brake dust problem is gone. I would say more than 80 precent reduction in dust that i observe on the wheel.
3- a better breaking feeling (more reassured). But this can be more subjective. I had no issue with steel breaking performance.
The bedding process required a good 45 munites to an hour drive.
4- installation was straight forward. You just need to insert the spacers plus changing the brake line in the front set. All supplied with the kit.
5- the disks look much nicer than the original rust prone steel rotors.
I highly recommend them if you are willing to make that kind of investment.
Hope that helps

I use Carbotech 1521 on my street car, they are low dust. The Endless pad above seems good, I haven’t used it. I’m using Endless MX72 for my other street/track car. PCCB is best low dust and performance.

I use Carbotech XP10 for my track car and have used 1521's. The XP10 are the best street/track day brake pads i've ever used by a mile. I didn't think they're available for these cars tho?

Carbotech are made to order. You can always send them your oem pads and they will put on the compound you want. Or order for the 991 gt3 on the website since it’s the same caliper. I’ve used XP10 for track, how are they in terms of dust and noise for the street?

They are very dusty and fairly noisy. Not ideal for a street pad but they work right from cold and give the most consistent pedal feel at the track that I have found in my current car. The Cayman should work even better with XP10 at the track because the brakes should run cooler than my Mazda3 MPS does.

it seems Dixcel packages 2 pads per box, not 4 pads as most companies do.
was that the case?
I want to replace my pads because they are creating so much dust, and Akebono doesn't seem to make any pads for Porsche.
