We put a 718 GT4 on the scales yesterday...
Hello Gents,
Not sure if this is old news, but a data point nonetheless. We had a 718 GT4 visit our facility yesterday to test fit our AP Racing by Essex Radi-CAL Brake Kit. It scaled at 3,106 lbs. with half a tank of gas.
Specs included:
LWBS
LED's
Full leather w/carbon trim
Bose, Nav, Carplay
Alcantara steering wheel
Iron discs
The car was weighed with the OEM brakes. Our AP Racing system knocks about 33 lbs. off the car, which would take it to 3073 lbs.

Thank you for sharing! It would be cool to learn about the weight differences of the options in the catalog, e.g., LED vs standard lights, standard interior vs leather, etc.
But the weight shown here is good news!

Drifting
Maybe add another pound back for the 3 missing wheel bolts.
But seriously, it is my understanding the weight difference between 981 and 718 is partly due to different ways of measuring it. You were allowed to use the lightest spec in 981.

Thanks for the weight! But did the brakes fit?

Three Wheelin'
16.9 gallons x 6.3 lbs/gallon = 106.5 lbs for a full tank
That is the bulk of the weight gain due to changes in the regulations for specifying a car's weight. I believe AP said it was more like a 40 lbs increase if you compare apples to apples between a 981 and a 718. Eleven of that is in the OPF filters and maybe another 5-10 in that central muffler which looks pretty heavy compared to the two small PSE mufflers of the 981.
