The other two posts just show the real issues that happen, probably not rampant, but the idea you have to technically worry about your $8k brakes getting damaged by spirited driving on b-roads and/or a little stone...hmmmm...no bueno there.

The other two look like wheel mounting/dismounting issues... which is also magnified more if you have 19’s.

Guys who track their cars wear out pads and rotors. Ceramic rotors cost 8 X more than iron ones. Iron rotors and Pagids stop as well or better. Ceramics are a non starter for me.
