have you looked at Forgeline? IMO better quality and value than either of those brands... YMMV of course

Meh. Don't like 99% of their designs. Plus I cut my teeth on Japanese cars...nostalgic for me.

Do you plan on swapping out your wheels for forged wheels and if so, which one?
I'm not surprised at all Porsche didn't fit the 718 GT4/Spyder with Forged wheels. They didn't for the 981 series & it still is an amazing car, & excellent value. They didn't go with a detuned GT3 4.0L engine either (not that it would fit, without major modifications anyway), for the similar reasons. Porsche introduced the GT4 back in 2015 as an entry level GT car, & making it more affordable.
If you want everything to be higher spec, then trade your car in for a 991.2 GT3 & forged wheels & motorsport engine come with the higher $$ package.

There's some incredible aftermarket wheel manufacturers & the choices are endless.
If you want low unsprung weight, a nice option is the Forgeline carbon dish wheels. The quality is excellent & they're light as feathers!

And?

Forgeline isn't a German wheel.

te37 ultra is cheaper than forgeline from what I’m looking at like the VX1R.

Also better than volk? Come on man. Based on comments like this, I don’t believe you’ve ever had a Volk or Rays wheel or know much about it. Otherwise you wouldn’t say it like you did.

Many many years ago I used to drive a black G35 coupe with bronze TE37's. Would like to get another pair for my incoming GT4, but not anytime soon. Maybe when I need to replace the tires I'll use the OEM rims for winters and get some TE37's for summers.

Depending on the color of your GT4, bronze would look great! I think they do polished lips now too so you can get matte face and polished lip. I've always found that combo incredible. It's just different enough yet still subtle.

I have a set of 19" Forgelines for my GT3. They are awesome.

I had looked into OZ at one point, but I found a thread in the 991 GT3 forum about barrel flexing. YMMV.

Volk makes a superb forged wheel and has an impeccable reputation and machining process- had a set of TE-37’s for an E90 M3 and they are every bit the equal of BBS, HRE, Forgeline, etc. For unclear reasons, their Porsche options are limited and difficult to source. I would love a set of TE-37’s for the GT3-

Too bad my TE37's aren't center-lock; I have a set of 20" Diamond Black TE37 Ultras for sale in the marketplace. Actually quite surprised I haven't had any bites yet as I think they look great on the 991; will fit 5x130 wide body 991's. Thought about trying them out on the GT4, but the offset won't work unfortunately.

My incoming 718 GT4 is Gentian Blue, so I think that would work well with bronze. The Aurum (gold) rims from Porsche are too bright for my tastes, need a deeper darker bronze.
