I have this after market memory module in my 981, that works great. Not sure if he has tested on a newer 718 Spyder or GT4

Unfortunately I can confirm that you have to press the button every time you turn the vehicle on and it does not remember the setting from the previous drive. I read about the buzzing noise from the cylinder deactivation prior to taking delivery and now that I have, I can also confirm it is noticeable and annoying. I just did 530 miles yesterday in the GT4 from NH to NYC and back and the buzzing is so bad at cruising speeds on the highway (even with valve closed) that it significantly vibrates the lightweight bucket seats, mirrors, etc... Poor design for an otherwise perfect car IMO.

Are you saying that even if you turn off the cylinder deactivation that it still causes the buzzing noise as well as vibrating the seats, mirrors, etc?
