I picked up my GT4 today. It came with Dunlop’s. I run Michelin’s on my other P cars. Still too early to say but I was disappointed my new Porsche didn’t have the Michelins installed.

Dunlops are just as good, if not better.

I was disappointed at first as I'm a big Michelin fan but they stick like crazy.
Surprised at how planted the car is at high speeds in the rain.
No complaints other than the issue mentioned above with Cup 2s as well, they're very sticky tyres so they grab and fling any gravel they can find.

All I can say so far in defense of the Dunlop Maxx Race 2 tires so far is WOW!

They grip like no bodies business, quiet and with a very confident road feel, in the corners it would hard to believe they can be beat, in summary I am not disappointed at all!

My Spyder also came with the Dunlops, and I was happy since they are more street friendly compared to the Cup 2. Quite pleased so far.

Will switch to all-seasons in the fall, and leave those on for a year or two. I thought about PS4S, but decided that those would limit my ability to drive in late fall / early spring, which is more important to me than having stickier tires.

You may have read hear as well that I too will be getting an all season tire for the fall through next spring, what tire have you decided on?

Just another data point, but my June build US Spyder came with Dunlops.

Are the PS4S now N rated?

I can see this being an issue. Thinking about a family member that would like the car, they wouldn't use or care about the Cup 2's. In fact it would detract from the experience because they would drive in the rain and not want to care about cold temps.

While Cup 2's are the street/track standard on GT cars....the new Dunlops are great from some posts I've read in the GT3 section. I recall the previous version being good too except for an issue I had. Issue resolution for the dealer was to replace with Cup 2's. It was weird and I'm sure a fairly isolated case.

Your posts inspired me to think about all season tires.

However my latest thinking is a bit bonkers: I plan to get Michelin Pilot Sports All Season 3+ tires for the fronts, and the newer generation Michelin Pilot Sports All Season 4 tires for the rears.

I would strongly advise against mixing tires types front to rear, best to stay with the same tire on all 4 wheels. I doubt any tire retailer or even the dealer would recommend you suggested mix.

Anyone know the answer to the original post?
I checked this box as my driving will not involve track and prefer better traction rain as I will work the Spyder into a daily line up.

PS4?
