silly thing also, the car does come with vanity lights if one orders the "Light Design Package". I would have assumed he'd go over a spec sheet so when he does those reviews he'd know beforehand what the owner of the car spec'd out. Super nice guy though. Met him when he did the review for the Senna.

Nice video review! Is it just me or does he look like a young Jay Leno? Not only in looks but also by the way he delivers the content?

Sorry but this guy is a waste of Youtube bandwidth. He spends 95% of his Vidoes talking about the content of cars then drives them down the street for 2-3miles and suddenly he’s an expert? Since when have you ever seen him drive any car aggressively or on a track? His opinion is worthless..

I dont think thats his schtick... He literally is the Quirks and Features guy who goes over unique aspects of these cars. Every youtuber can blab about how exciting and thrilling these cars are to drive, but this guy gives the more civilian review.

Could you be any more off. That's not is targeted audience. You can watch 99% of any other car youtubers if that's what you want. They will all use the same cliché and you will have literally wasted your time and bandwith after the first 2 vids. He's got a style of video for a niche market and he's been pretty successful at it.

Then he should not make gushy handling and performance claims and statements when all he does is drive the car down the road. He may as well be a talking brochure.

I think you nailed it. His reviews are the same template and style. His quirks and features segment sets him apart from others. It seems to work as he has no problem getting people to feature their cars. There is a difference between many YouTube reviews and traditional auto journalist style of presenting. This is why I prefer Catchpole, Metcalfe, Sutcliffe, and Prior, etc. but I’ll watch some of the others on cars I’m interested in just to view the car. Some others I find unwatchable. Too each his own.

His subjective review is not reflected in his objective score in a number of different areas.

1. He says this is the Porsche he would get above anything else and "it's not even close". And yet there are two 911 variants that are ranked higher.
2. Cool factor should be higher. People who know cars will know what it is. People who don't will just know that it is a Porsche.
3. Practicality score should be higher. In fact he makes a point of saying how practical it is with 2 trunks. It merits at least a 3-4.

You can't say this this is the best sports cars ever and then have a bunch of cars listed above it in terms of objective scoring.

I liked the style of the review, a bit more down to earth and real, my take away is that I will like my Spyder when it arrives!

And he poked fun at the dual zone climate control which is also an option.

I was looking for something on this but can't find it listed, by vanity lights, you do mean in the visors right?
