Doug is a huge fan of the GT4 in general. Very similar to when he reviewed the 981 GT4 a few years back.

I enjoyed the video, thank you!

Agree he loves it. Controversial comments about 911 because he ranks it ahead of 911. I guess I liked his review because I would agree.

The fun factor of Caymans cannot be explained to people who've never driven one. You just gotta drive one. I will admit mine has been sitting in the garage for a while and I love love LOVE it now that I've driven it again in a while. It just puts a genuine smile on your face.

This GT4 is epic.
I found it funny he started to bash on the LWBS, just because it has A/C lol, but THEN follows up with complaining about the infotainment system. Talk about a double standard.

When I traded in my Ferrari the SA insisted on selling me a 911. He found it difficult to understand that I rather have a Cayman GT than a 911. I just love the look of Spyder and GT better and love mid engine cars. It is so small, wraps around you, handling and steering is amazing. I felt the 360 felt like a go cart but so did rage Cayman. Perhaps the best compliment is to say, if I had to choose between the a Ferrari and the Cayman it would be a very difficult decision. I’m looking forward to my GT4 Spyder 👍.

Fantastic! Hands down, that's the best review of the GT4 I've seen. And by a long shot.
Love his rant about the joke of using fabric handles to save weight. (I actually really like the fabric handles. But the plastic rear window on the Spyder and the lack of seat memory are extremely annoying and downright idiotic, but something I will live with). I think Doug's review is the most honest and unpretentious that I've seen. I love his passion, and his crooked nose matches his personality so well.

I think he likes it. The only thing that bugs me about reviews like this is when the reviewer goes on and on about how great the car handles but then there isn't a single second of video showing them driving the car hard in a situation where the handling would even matter.

No need for seat memory - no one else in drivers seat but you 😊

Can't rely on him for that, nor would I ever want to lol
Doug's always giving an honest take when it comes to aesthetics & overall ergonomics. He lives off his "quirks & features" mantra.
Autogefuhl is my go-to for the best reviews & driving impressions

Amusing stuff at the 12:50 mark.
I did learn something from the video... the red reflectors also keep the rear fog light. I figured they were just reflectors as well. It is also an area where I am conflicted about the design. The 981 GT4 didn't have these and as a result the rear bumper has a very clean and deep look to it. Perhaps Porsche was forced through some regulations to include the reflectors, but it's unfortunate. It's certainly on on the level of offence that is the sat radio antenna, but I think they could have a better rear design on their hands without these red strips and the horizontal lines associated with their placement. In fairness, maybe they tried a design iteration without the line breaking up the bulk of the rear bumper and it didn't look right.

I met Doug in Chicago 3 years ago while he was doing his cross country Aston Martin trip and he absolutely loved my 981 GT4.
Said it would be a part of his dream 4 car garage.

Just annoys me when he gets things slightly wrong...the Cayman does have a Sport button in PDK models since the Sport button primarily changes the shift points/transmission behaviour.
