You just have to stretch and really turn your head before you change lanes to the right. Not a big deal on a weekend car. Might be a bit on a daily driver.

I beg to differ on that one... my GTS Cabriolet has a horrendous blind spot on the passenger-side with the top up ... I put an aspherical mirror on that side to help (but not remove) that

Or I will get one of those convex mirrors that was mentioned.

I'm 6'2" as well. It's not terrible, but you will have a blind spot if you just sit normally and try to make right lane changes. There is no way to see a car right in the classic blind spot area.

Back window is small, but it works. Not as good as regular boxster back window

Thanks so much for all the feedback! So is changing lanes to the passenger's side a terrifying experience?
What do you mean, exactly, when you speak of adjusting mirrors properly...I think I know but just want to make sure?
God bless,

It really does work. That is the best way to adjust your mirrors for blind spots. You will see the car two lanes over hanging out in what would be a blind spot. You know the one. You make a lane change to the center lane, and then freak yourself out because "there's a car in the far lane I didn't see." It does take some time getting used to because the driver's mirror will now constantly show you the scenery of the side of the freeway in your peripheral vision. It does take some training to tune that out from your peripheral vision. A few weeks and you're good.
The only drawback is backing into spots. Can't really see the curb any more unless you do one of those leans back to the driver window or the center of the car.

So with mirrors adjusted properly visibility to the rear and rear quarters of the Spyder is accepable?--except for the possibility of running over motorcyclists. ;-) I just checked and Suncoast does have the aspherical mirrors for both sides of this car.
