What's your opinion on brake dust with this color? Do you find it a problem?

if you get up on CWM, you can see the metallic flakes, but it’s a subtle effect in my opinion, at least as opposed to other metallic colors.
I feel like the difference really stands out for CWM in the morning before sunrise, or just after sunset. That’s when the cool / blueish effect is most apparent to me.

I put Gyeon Cancoat on my wheels a couple of times a year, and that seems to help with brake dust. The platinum wheels also help with that - if you get a good tire shine, you won’t see sling onto the paint, and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen brake dust make it’s way to the fenders or doors. I use Adam’s Graphene Tire Dressing and it’s great without slinging. I DO wash at least one a week, though.

I really like it - it’s beautiful and bright in the sun, but has more character and differentiation in lower light. Like I mentioned in my other reply, that’s when the coolness or blueish hints come out, which I personally like a lot.

One of the many things I recently purchased in the care line up is DLUX by Carpro. I’ll be applying 2 coats to the wheels/calipers, and all the black plastic bits. I recently decided to against my feelings about adding ceramic over my soon to be full PPF, and bought HALO Ceramic to go over the PPF, so I doubt I will have much iron fallout from brake dust either.. I also plan to do a weekly maintenance wash. Every single tire dressing out there will sling onto your paint work if one applies too much. I currently have a 3yr old bottle of CarPro Pearl thats basically finished, so I will be on the hunt for its replacement. How do you like the Adam’s product; what’s the finish look like (matte/gloss?), how long is the protection lasting you?

Seems like you take pretty good all around care of your CWM

I typically wash my cars in the evening (that’s when I have shade in my driveway), so when I blow all the water off the car, apply my topper to the paint / glass, and add my tire dressing, it has all night to settle into the rubber. I really don’t see much sling using this approach. Also, If you can clean the tires well before the first application, then you won’t have to reapply all the time. Because it really seems to stick.
The water consistently beads off the tires, even if it’s been a few weeks since the last application. And it retains that darker look over a couple of weeks, but loses some of the “wetness” or bling look.
EDIT - having a coating on the wheels really helps. I’ve used CanCoat and MOHS Evo on my wheels with good success.

Finally managed to see CWM on a 718 in real life, also was lucky enough to check it in direct sunlight.
There is no way this is the same CWM that is used on the Taycan.
They look completely different.

To me there is nothing like a white porsche. my 981 GT4 was white with black and red accidents and was perfection. Going for a GTS in something else this time but white is one of my top picks for these cars.
