The satellite antenna is functional and hidden away under some trunk panels...I'd never really know though, as you cannot hear anything over the exhaust. No idea about the inspection, but I suspect it won't be an issue in my state.

Couple more questions as look closer at this incredible ride, were the spyder emblems on the side replaced with black painted emblems or plasti-dip? Are they fixed with 3m tape and easily removed?
Yes, the car has had much of its suspension changed. E-Motion Engineering supplied LCAs, tension arms, drop links and toe links + KW Clubsport 3 way dampers with remote reservoirs.

The OEM Spyder badges were removed and painted gloss black when the rear hatch had its bodywork done. I did not do any of the work so I have no idea if they were easy to remove.

Badges are simple to remove

Fishing line
Heat gun
Goo gone

heat it up, saw with the fishing line, remove leftover glue with the goo gone

putting it back on straight is the difficult part! SO make sure to make a tape template

I know that is the typical method that I have used many times but didn't know if this location had posts or just 3M. Can you confirm?

Don't think many modern cars today have holes/posts I would almost guarantee the badges are glued on, especially since they are customizable from the factory

Delivered at 10:30, dropped off for ppf at 2. On Friday the miles start to get out on

This is basic white although with the clouds in the second photo I could claim chalk

@Jeff Jones I was going to say the same thing, two different cars, White changing to Chalk in the second shot!

Congrats!

Crazy right? I processed the photos at the same time and didn't do a lot of color correction so this is a pretty accurate view of the color in the different light. Delivery was done under dark skies and in the rain. The full sun came out a few hours later and I was able to drive it to Pista with the top down. Life in the Northwest this time of year.

Great looking car Jeff! Are you doing a full PPF or just a “track package” ? Are you doing a ceramic coat over PPF as well? PS: It is uncanny how the color changed in the different light.

Thanks, I’m loving it! I’m doing full front, rocker panels, full door, rear wheel fender and the carbon fiber door sills. Pista does a good job of customizing the templates to hide seams where possible.

I’m not doing ceramic this time, at least not yet. I may go full mid-life crisis with the car and do a Martini inspired wrap and ceramic makes that harder to do.

Just picked mine up from PEC ATL yesterday. CWM with Spyder Classic Interior and Red top. Drove the car 140 mostly-freeway miles through the evening before arriving home and it was very impressive. More driving planned for later today on rural roads closer to my home, with the top down.

That Martini wrap will look classic! But the car stock looks great too. Decisions decisions. I’ll almost got my BGTS in Carrera White too, but as my wife’s Cayenne is already Carrera white I went for GT-silver. I did my installer’s so called track package and it sounds the same as what you did. It was my 1st time doing PPF and was not sure about it but now I’m happy I did. I did end up with ceramic coating the whole car and wheels, again my 1st experience with it and love how easy to clean the car is. Rinse,Foam, rinse, gently hand wash and blow dry. 30 min start to finish. Enjoy your new ride! We have pretty crappy weather up in Vancouver right now, so hope Seattle is better!
