Why they would discontinue this colour is beyond me.

We do not know the name or the color, plain or metal ??
But supposedly the blue will be almost the same .... just a component of the color that changes .... and the name ....
I think he just told me that to reassure me

excuse me for my english but i'm french and use google translate

I specify that I ordered a spyder pdk miami blue

well my order just went v215 w miami blue and PDK. So the order is accepted and locked. Build date set for 11/27. I was told November is only month that MB and PDK available together as MB going away. So feeling fortunate. Also shark blue is available as a VW color so check it out, its nothing like cornflower blue and is metallic

Larry, We went with similar build to yours Black wheels instead. You convinced me to go PCCBs. They looks sooo good with MB.

My 991.2S was MB and I loved it but I don't think its been a popular color by and large. If you substituted MB for Mexico, Vodoo, Maritime, or Riviera, those would sell like hot cakes for a 32XX upcharge. Sad to see it going away, but I am sure you can probably spec if for $13K.

Agreed. And TBH if I was paying $13K I'd pick Mexico over Miami every time

I think there has been a lot of speculation regarding "Shark Blue" and its potential relationship to VAG "Cornflower" ... but I think its still only speculation at this point in time...

Could be...however, while talking to my SA couple weeks back he mentioned they received some material confirming upcoming color and reference to VW cornflower blue.

I wouldn't call multiple paint suppliers listing Porsche Paint codes that mirror VAG paint codes speculation.

I happen to be at the dealer when the owner of another Miami Blue spyder picked up his new ride.......... what a beauty (and it was nice hearing it for a brief moment).
