I think yellow dials would be too much/very distracting!

yes it does. In the evening before sunset it’s really emotional to look at it. It’s gorgeous! At night it’s a dark blue and during the day the direct sunlight makes it really metallic blue.

it’s the satin platinum wheels. I personally don’t like the aurum much, but it’s definitely a taste thing. I considered the black wheels too.

this car is difficult to look ugly. GT silver was my second color option but I’ve always had black/grey/silver cars, wanted to go a bit bold and have some vivid color. Not too much fan of yellow or Miami blue.

There is a thread here of a Spyder in black with aurum wheels that is just amazing too. Black it’s just a nightmare to keep beautiful. Must always be spotless clean.

Guards Red with black interior is also gorgeous on this car because of the spoiler and diffuser in black. Just think GR became too much the color of the base model.

I 100% agree with your sentiments ... I think GBM + speed yellow interior + satin platinum is the way to go!

[QUOTE=tdlondon;16676740]

The yellow calipers looks so good with the platinum wheels. A must have for me.

funny that despite the "red" rear indicators here in the US (vs the yellow/amber in RoW) Porsche still insist on those ugly orange side markers!

I guess it gives business to suncoast and the like...

It's a US norm unfortunately. The cars must have an orange reflective marker on the frontal sides. BMW has now put them as a reflective stripe on the bumpers contouring the wheel.
The other thing I'd like to change is the rear blinker to amber instead of red. Not sure if that's possible now that's all LED.

Good point! I prefer yellow blinkers, makes it more visible and a clear statement that it's the turn signal that's activated and not the brakes! Funny DOT regulations... I always thought that blinkers should be yellow and that yellow side blinkers should be mandatory in the US and canada. Maybe it will require a Euro switch for the rear light assembly. Wonder it it would be plug and play?

It’s intentionally functional from a safety standpoint. It is so you know which way the car is facing on or off. More specifically if someone is driving in the dark without their lights on. You see red reflectors you are facing the rear of the vehicle... if you see amber reflectors you are facing the front... if you see one amber left and one red on the right... it is the left side. if you see red left and amber right It’s the right side of the vehicle.

I was reffering to flashers and not reflectors. I understand your point.
