The reflexions on the rear bumber of kj71109's car are intoxicating! Do you have PPF on your car? That's the only thing left in my head to debate... I like the idea of protecting the car but wonder how it would change the paint over the long run (how would the paint look in 10 years + under the PPF...)

Thank you! No sir, that is just a wash and Adams H20 Guard and Gloss. My $.02. I will not PPF another car. Not worth the money. I bought a First Edition F90 last year that had PPF applied and it took away from the cars actual paint. They have good body shops in this area should My car actually acquire such a chip or damage that needs fixing. My car will get a good ceramic coat once my detailer is available and that will be it as far as paint protector. It’s almost like PPF is the new fad that we all think we “need.”

To each there own regarding PPF but quality film installed on your car will be invisible and will not harm the paint during it's advertised lifespan, these products have improved immensely in the past 10 years. Having said thateven a film installed 10 years ago is near the end of it's life now and should be assesed for its integrity and should probably be replaced.
For me there is no debate either here on the forum or in my head, when my Spyder arrives it gets a full PPF wrap.
I keep coming back to this picture to help the waiting... Do you guys think or know if it is stock height or lowered (or photoshopped)? The wheel gap is really small.

Damn you people and your black wheels. That's lowered for sure...
Tried to measure distance from ground up on Spyder tonight with digital laser (before my one hour run + cause you know - got to break it in Front lip 6 1/16 and rear was 7 3/16 but couldn’t get it to register on side of car - kept getting error reading but it’s friggin low😊. 6 inch clearance on front lip - wow. Glad it’s not carbon fibre.
