These flippers are funny...they better go fast because the clock is ticking before prices go below MSRP.

Looks like a good opportunity for those who aren't with an early allocation (or trying to get one) to shop around!
I doubt all those cars are available. When my GT4 came in (2016) it was listed on some of those web sites. Same with our RS. When GT4’s (2016) started popping up, well before I got my build - I called on several cars I saw on Autotrader. None were for sale. They were all ordered by someone but the dealers put them on the web site because they want people to call, and then they try and divert to a car that is not spoken for. Only way to know is to call on each one and find out.

They seem to be the flipper marketplace of choice and they seem to always start at crackhead asking prices. And IIRC they’re a Premier dealership, correct?

Possibly owned by a distant relative of Al Capone?

Typically if there are pictures of the actual car, it’s a real car for sale. The dealer scrapes are the generics. There are GT4s on the ground for sale at MSRP. At least 5-6 of them have come through this thread already. And the Monterey car is a real car for sale.

This is SO different from the first GT4 and great that people have a chance to get them right away. Yes I’ve read of people buying them off the showroom floor. I’m aware they are out there, but I never assume a car on one of the “big” sites (autotrader, cargurus, etc) is available until I call as I experienced the “bait/switch” several times in the past over GT4 and GT3RS and also Cayman R (back in the day).

I hope everyone who wants one can get it for MSRP or less!

This version is allegedly going to be made up without artificial constraints up to MY'22, so lots of availability. The used market should be interesting in one year.

I believe so. Chicago is awful, but their pricing is just ludicrous. I don't even bother calling.

@John Mclane true. But into a worldwide recession this yr and likely depressed economy until a Covid-19 vaccine becomes available, in abundance, I lean towards there's going to be fewer ordered than otherwise.

GDP fully recovers and expands 2023/2024, might be a used 718 GT4 car market that stays well bid.

What do I know. I make projections and estimates for a living, and I am wrong a lot.

I did stop and see a Chalk GT4 and Spyder at Porsche Exchange the other day. Heard Porsche dealer allocations are looking to be down by almost 1/3. Sounds like PAG is tapping the breaks some.
