I'm surprised by the number of "exhaust" vids on youtube that are produced in the same manner....but I guess I shouldn't given the number of "car reviewers", who don't know much about cars, or spend half the video making coffee/food, and going on errands. Damn algorithms!

The US spec sounds almost exactly like the European spec, the OPF cores in the overaxle pipes are about identical therefore the restriction on sound is the same. That way, they can be removed relatively easily.

Are the Over Axle Pipes CA CARB legal?

As they are inert and do not modify emissions, technically yes. Though, CARB is probably stingy enough that they'd still want it to be officially "approved".

Is there a way to find out if your GT4 has particulate filter(EU spec) or not (US spec)?

Our dealer seems to have no idea when asked

All three part numbers available for the over axles pipes from Porsche (different regions) all show particulate filter descriptions. Europe is monitored, US is not. Whether or not you can delete the unmotinored ones in Cali and get through CARB is going to be a gray area. Many shops probably won't be looking for it as the factory cats are still in the headers. Until these cars hit 6 years from new and they have to have the CARB visual check done, I don't think we'll know for sure how it will pan out.
