Default No Lift Shift? Or not?

I couldn't find any definitive answer so thought to ask the experts here. Does the 718 Spyder/GT4 have the No Lift Shift feature like the 991.2 GT3's?

Of course, it is done with software so it just needs to be programmed in...

On my Touring, If I NLS fast enough at or close to full throttle, I can hear pops and crackles out of the exhaust, sounds I don't hear when doing normal shifting. I'll pass on the Spyder if it doesn't have this feature, or will wait until Porsche adds it to the car, or may just wait for a PDK Sypder.

We were all expecting flat shift in the 982 Spyder/GT4 based on that video from last year. However, reports on delivered cars seem to confirm that the feature is NOT present, which is a shame. Speculation is that the omission of this feature is emission/testing compliance related.

There's no lift, I've driven my 718 GT4 for around 1600 km now only on roads without any issue. It is higher and different from a GT3RS

@neurotic did you not read GT325's post or the linked thread for the answer to your question?

Or perhaps you are looking for a different reason?

This thread is about the no-lift shift feature, not a front end lift.
