anthracite aluminium trim real life pictures?
#16
I have the anthracite aluminum interior in my Macan GTS. It was a 0 cost option. I don’t regret choosing it but am not overly thrilled by it either. I find it has a brown-ish tint (could be my eyes though).
I choose carbon fiber for the GT4 and find it fantastic, just not the same quality of finish (although again, nothing to complain with the aluminum). I hear the argument that it starts to get old but I personally don’t see it as I dreamed to get it for so many years! And it goes well with the bucket seats.
(too bad we can’t drive our cars now)

Another anoyance in the trim saga that I just noticed is that no matter what option you select (standard/anthtracite/carbon/painted) the trim piece between the seats in the rear stays the same... looks like it's anthracite vs standard. So the only way to get everything in a simlar trim would be to stick with standard vs anthracite?
So much little details in the options that are not well thought out... that coming from the company that is hands down the champion in individual options! I dont care about a painted car key, just get all the trim options available AND make all the trim the same once you select said option!!

Agreed, Anthracite is much lighter than it looks on the configurator and closer to the standard aluminium trim. I have the black aluminium trim in my Macan GTS and it looks great, too bad it's not an option for the GT4. If you're after a darker colour for the trim but don't want to spend the extra money for the Carbon Fibre trim, then I would suggest going with the leather trim instead. I had originally optioned that in my GT4 before eventually selecting the Carbon Fibre trim myself.

What is that option? I dont know what it is but me want it!! Are you talking about the SC clock? Damn I already have it configured! My SA showed me a car in showroom which he tought was anthracite but now I'm convinced it was black anodyzed... dealers are closed now but once they reopen I'll go again to see it in real life.

Here are some pictures I took at the Chicago Auto Show. The GT4 on display had the Anthrite Aluminum feature. Its very much lighter than the configurator would have you believe.

The pictures above convinced me to take a chance (even though the configurator did a very poor job showing it) and it turned out to be beautiful. I think the door card picture above is probably the most accurate in terms of color in real life under regular lighting. https://www.instawrapshop.ca/product...-brushed-steel is pretty close as well.

I wish, so very hard, that Anthracite aluminum trim was available on the Spyder. It would be a really well match with Platinum wheels. The regular aluminum trim looks good too, which is what I have at the moment, but it is a bit on the brighter side. Never was interested in black aluminum as the whole interior is already black (no factory options to spec a colorful interior on GT4/Spyder unfortunately). And painted trim looks relatively cheap on a $100k car in my personal opinion, reminds me of Fiat 500.
