I have the anthracite aluminum interior in my Macan GTS. It was a 0 cost option. I don’t regret choosing it but am not overly thrilled by it either. I find it has a brown-ish tint (could be my eyes though).

I choose carbon fiber for the GT4 and find it fantastic, just not the same quality of finish (although again, nothing to complain with the aluminum). I hear the argument that it starts to get old but I personally don’t see it as I dreamed to get it for so many years! And it goes well with the bucket seats.

(too bad we can’t drive our cars now)

Thanks for your input. Lots of time left to think and rethink options!

Sorry, I stand corrected. It looks just gray under normal daylight (see picture taken this morning). The brownish tint is when I look at it in the garage or an underground parking.

Thanks. It looks darker on your picture, maybe because of lighting conditions.

Another anoyance in the trim saga that I just noticed is that no matter what option you select (standard/anthtracite/carbon/painted) the trim piece between the seats in the rear stays the same... looks like it's anthracite vs standard. So the only way to get everything in a simlar trim would be to stick with standard vs anthracite?

So much little details in the options that are not well thought out... that coming from the company that is hands down the champion in individual options! I dont care about a painted car key, just get all the trim options available AND make all the trim the same once you select said option!!

If you're after a darker colour for the trim but don't want to spend the extra money for the Carbon Fibre trim, then I would suggest going with the leather trim instead. I had originally optioned that in my GT4 before eventually selecting the Carbon Fibre trim myself.
same here, and generally not the biggest fan of CF interiors (it is 2010 ish ) BUT with the CF buckets and the way Porsche does their CF, it actually finishes off the cockpit nicely. Would have been even better if Porsche used the exact same weave from seats on the trim...

Agree, and @kart125 , try and find a car with this trim to see it IRL. It's very subjective, I personally thought I'd love anthracite alum. but found it somewhat too plain for my objectives for the interior. But then again, that could be the preference...and you're also talking to a guy who optioned the silly leather steering column case, an extra watch dial on dash... I was when specing the car I'm pretty sure...

What is that option? I dont know what it is but me want it!! Are you talking about the SC clock? Damn I already have it configured! My SA showed me a car in showroom which he tought was anthracite but now I'm convinced it was black anodyzed... dealers are closed now but once they reopen I'll go again to see it in real life.

yep, I was against it, but decided might as well to pretty up the dash a little. I probably wouldn't have missed it if I didn't option I bet.

Dash looks a bit blend without it... but I agree it's not necessary, so I ticked the box!

Here are some pictures I took at the Chicago Auto Show. The GT4 on display had the Anthrite Aluminum feature. Its very much lighter than the configurator would have you believe.

Odd... why does this anthracite trim look so much lighter than the one above in the macan pic?

Lighting and exposure settings can greatly alter how colours are recorded, the GT4 was under artificial light the Macan outdoors.

The pictures above convinced me to take a chance (even though the configurator did a very poor job showing it) and it turned out to be beautiful. I think the door card picture above is probably the most accurate in terms of color in real life under regular lighting. https://www.instawrapshop.ca/product...-brushed-steel is pretty close as well.

I wish, so very hard, that Anthracite aluminum trim was available on the Spyder. It would be a really well match with Platinum wheels. The regular aluminum trim looks good too, which is what I have at the moment, but it is a bit on the brighter side. Never was interested in black aluminum as the whole interior is already black (no factory options to spec a colorful interior on GT4/Spyder unfortunately). And painted trim looks relatively cheap on a $100k car in my personal opinion, reminds me of Fiat 500.
