I'm debating between anthracite aluminium and painted trim (gentian blue) on my build. Not a fan of carbon fiber (so 2010s!! ) and standard silver trim.

Anyone gone the anthracite trim route? pictures?

I just saw the gentian trim from "thedoctor" and it looks nice... but would like to compare with real life pictures of anthracite. The configurator does not give a good idea IMO!

Thanks Illusive. I wished they offered black anodized trim it would look sick! I saw an exemple in the showroom. I'm afraid the anthracite will be on the "light" side, close to the standard trim... maybe painted trim will be the best option then!

 

i was surprised how dark anthracite looks on configurator compared to what it actually looks like. I like the gentian painted as shown on thedoctors car. I think it willl look great!
I was on the fence between all trims, leather included, but went painted trim last minute.

 

Agreed, Anthracite is much lighter than it looks on the configurator and closer to the standard aluminium trim. I have the black aluminium trim in my Macan GTS and it looks great, too bad it's not an option for the GT4. If you're after a darker colour for the trim but don't want to spend the extra money for the Carbon Fibre trim, then I would suggest going with the leather trim instead. I had originally optioned that in my GT4 before eventually selecting the Carbon Fibre trim myself.

Don't tell me they don't offer black brushed aluminum on the GT4!

 

Interesting that Anthracite is only available with the GT4 while Brushed Black is only available with the Spyder. Also, the standard aluminum finish is standard with the GT4 while the colour matched trim is standard for the Spyder, but an available no cost option vice versa.

@kart125 as you know I am just poking fun, still I have no idea on the logic Porsche used on these two cars for option availability...

 

I know just havin fun too! It's like they put bingo ***** in a big mixer ang they picked the "options *****" and randomly asigning them to GT4/Spyder...

Should be nice! post pics once you get the car! I decided to go with painted trim in gentian blue. If I dont like the look or get tired of it I'll try to wrap them in black anodized.
